AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY CONSULTANT CALLS FOR ENHANCED DRIVER EDUCATION INITIATIVE TO SAVE LIVES
New Teen Driver Training Program to Include Real-World Experience with Today’s Modern Automotive Safety Technologies
DETROIT, April 18, 2007 – At the Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE) World Congress today, 20-year automotive safety veteran and President of Safety Inc., Bob Kittle, will announce the need for a supplemental driver’s experience program to enhance the current level of education. Kittle will make the announcement during a panel discussion with some of the supplier industry’s leading safety engineers and key note speaker, Administrator of the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), Nicole Nason. Kittle said the new program, teaching teens both basic skills and giving them hands-on experience with some of the new technologies in the cars of today will make them better drivers, and will ultimately save lives.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 2, 2006 – Bob Kittle, a 20-year automotive safety veteran, has left his post as VP of Sales for Takata to form his own sales and safety consultancy company, The Kittle Group. While at Takata, Kittle was instrumental in the strategy that made the company a safety leader in North America.
